Plain-Language Summary
This app is for personal use only. Don't sell, copy, or modify it. PERIOD DEALER LTD owns the app — you're getting a licence to use it. The app does not require an account and does not collect personal information about you. Your cycle data and any data you import from Apple Health stays on your device. From time to time we send in-app messages, and you can choose to reply or send feedback — only the response is stored, never who sent it. You can optionally support the app through an in-app purchase processed by Apple and RevenueCat. You need to be 18 or older. We may update the app, and we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly. If you don't agree with these terms, uninstall the app.
1. Parties and Definitions
This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and PERIOD DEALER LTD, registered at 123 Promenade, Second Floor, Cheltenham, England, GL50 1NW, company number 16173056 (“Licensor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This EULA governs your use of the Bleed mobile application (“App”), downloaded through the Apple App Store.
This EULA should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By installing the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The App does not collect identifying information and we cannot independently verify age. If you are under 18, do not install or use the App.
3. Licence Grant
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
This licence does not grant you any ownership interest in the App.
4. Licence Restrictions
You agree not to:
a) Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App or any part of it
b) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
c) Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicence, or distribute the App to any third party
d) Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices contained in the App
e) Use the App for any commercial purpose
f) Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
g) Attempt to bypass any security features of the App
h) Submit unlawful, abusive, or threatening content through the in-app feedback form or message responses
i) Replicate, clone, or imitate the App, in whole or in substantial part. This includes (without limitation) reproducing its user interface, layout, navigation, screen flows, distinctive visual design, look-and-feel, trade dress, colour system, typography choices, illustrations, icons, animations, on-screen copy, marketing copy, or any other creative or distinctive elements of the App or its associated branding, whether by manual recreation, automated extraction, screenshot tracing, design-tool import, AI-assisted reproduction, or any other means
j) Use the App, its design, or its content to develop, train, fine-tune, or evaluate a product, service, dataset, or model that competes with or substantially resembles the App
5. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The App, including its source code, design, user interface, layout, screen flows, look-and-feel, trade dress, graphics, illustrations, icons, animations, on-screen copy, marketing copy, branding, name, logo, and all related content, is and remains the exclusive property of PERIOD DEALER LTD. This EULA does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
“Bleed” and the Bleed logo are trademarks of PERIOD DEALER LTD. You may not use them without our prior written consent. The App's distinctive visual design and user interface elements are protected as trade dress and copyrighted creative works.
All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved by PERIOD DEALER LTD.
6. No Account
The App does not require account registration. You do not need to provide an email, name, phone number, or any other identifier. There is no log-in screen and no sign-up flow.
7. User Data
a) On-device data. Cycle data, symptoms, intimacy logs, notes, predictions, and any data you import from Apple Health are stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, access, or store this data on our servers.
b) Apple Health. During first-time setup, the App offers a choice: import your existing cycle data from Apple Health, or start fresh with a clean slate. The import, if you choose it, is a one-time read performed on your device only — the App does not continuously pull data from Apple Health in the background. The data is never transmitted to us. You can decline the import, and you can review Apple Health permissions at any time through iOS Settings.
c) In-app messaging and optional responses. The App periodically checks for in-app messages from us. Some messages may invite a like, a dislike, a rating, or a short reply. Replying is optional. If you reply, only the content of your response is stored — no identifier is captured.
d) Optional feedback form. If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, only the text of the submission is stored.
You are responsible for backing up your data using the export feature in Settings. We cannot recover data lost due to device failure, loss, or reset.

8. Support (Optional Contributions)
The App is free to use. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or premium features. There is nothing locked behind any contribution.
If you choose to support the App, an optional in-app contribution is available. The contribution is processed by Apple as an in-app purchase and facilitated by RevenueCat. By choosing to make a contribution, you also agree to:

We do not receive or store your payment card, billing address, name, or email. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
9. Updates and Modifications
We may release updates to the App that add, change, or remove features. Updates may be required for continued use of the App.
Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree with an update, uninstall the App.
We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, or support.
10. Third-Party Services
The App interacts with the following third-party services:
a) Apple Health. Optional, on-device only, and read only once during first-time setup.
b) Apple In-App Purchase. For optional support contributions.
c) RevenueCat. For facilitating optional support contributions.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of these third-party services.
11. Disclaimer of Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:
a) The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
b) The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems
c) The App is fit for any particular purpose
d) Any defects in the App will be corrected
You use the App at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PERIOD DEALER LTD shall not be liable for:
a) Any loss of data stored on your device
b) Any health decisions you make based on information in the App
c) Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
d) Any loss arising from device failure, operating system updates, or third-party service outages
Our total liability for any claim arising from this EULA shall not exceed £50.
Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this EULA.
13. No Medical Advice
The App is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. The fertile-window view is informational and educational only, intended to support conversations with a healthcare professional. It is not a contraceptive method, fertility planner, or pregnancy planner.
14. Termination
This licence is effective until terminated.
By you. You may terminate this EULA at any time by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling removes the App and all on-device data.
By us. We may terminate this EULA and your licence if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and uninstall it from all devices.
Automatic termination. If we permanently discontinue the App, this EULA terminates automatically.
15. Severability
If any provision of this EULA is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue in full force.
16. Entire Agreement
This EULA, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and PERIOD DEALER LTD regarding your licence to use the App.
17. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence where those protections cannot be waived by agreement.
