End User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Plain-language summary

This app is for personal use only. Don't sell, copy, or modify it. BUCHLING LTD owns the app. You're getting a licence to use it. Your health data stays on your device and we don't collect it. We store your email for your account and donation records if you donate. You need to be 18 or older. We may update the app, and we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly. If you don't agree with these terms, uninstall it.

1. Parties and definitions

This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and BUCHLING LTD, registered at 123 Promenade, Second Floor, Cheltenham, England, GL50 1NW, company number 16173056 (“Licensor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This EULA governs your use of the Bleed mobile application (“App”), downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

This EULA should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By installing the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Licence grant

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

This licence does not grant you any ownership interest in the App.

4. Licence restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App or any part of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicence, or distribute the App to any third party
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices contained in the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose
  • Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
  • Attempt to bypass any security features of the App

5. Ownership and intellectual property

The App, including its source code, design, graphics, branding, name, logo, and all related content, is and remains the exclusive property of BUCHLING LTD. This EULA does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

“Bleed” and the Bleed logo are trademarks of BUCHLING LTD. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

All rights not expressly granted in this EULA are reserved by BUCHLING LTD.

6. Account registration

The App requires account registration using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

7. User data

Health data, cycle data, and personal logs you enter into the App are stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, access, or store this data on our servers.

The only information we store on our servers is:

  • Your email address (for account authentication)
  • Donation records, if applicable (amount and date)

You are responsible for backing up your data using the export feature in Settings. We cannot recover data lost due to device failure, loss, or reset.

8. Donations

The App accepts voluntary donations processed by RevenueCat. Donations do not unlock features or change your licence. Donations are refundable by emailing info@mybleed.io. RevenueCat's terms of service and privacy policy apply to all donation transactions.

9. Updates and modifications

We may release updates to the App that add, change, or remove features. Updates may be required for continued use of the App.

Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes. If you do not agree with an update, uninstall the App.

We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, or support.

10. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Google and Apple for account authentication
  • RevenueCat for donation processing

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of these third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems
  • The App is fit for any particular purpose
  • Any defects in the App will be corrected

You use the App at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BUCHLING LTD shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of data stored on your device
  • Any health decisions you make based on information in the App
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss arising from device failure, operating system updates, or third-party service outages

Our total liability for any claim arising from this EULA shall not exceed £50.

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this EULA.

13. Termination

This licence is effective until terminated.

By you. You may terminate this EULA at any time by deleting your account through Settings and uninstalling the App.

By us. We may terminate this EULA and your licence if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and uninstall it from all devices.

Automatic termination. If we permanently discontinue the App, this EULA terminates automatically.

Termination does not affect your right to request deletion of your server-side data (email and donation records) under UK GDPR.

14. Severability

If any provision of this EULA is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue in full force.

15. Entire agreement

This EULA, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and BUCHLING LTD regarding your licence to use the App.

16. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the laws of your country of residence where those protections cannot be waived by agreement.
